Co-founded by Aina Abiodun and Mike Knowlton, StoryCode is an open-source, global community for emerging and established cross-platform and immersive storytellers.

StoryCode programs a monthly event series called "StoryCode Forums". Immersive media case studies are presented and are followed with in-depth discussion. Past presenters have included Mike Monello of Campfire, Lance Weiler of Pandemic 1.0, Jesse Redniss of USA Network and Marcel Guerra from Showtime.

With chapters in Barcelona, Boston, Costa Rica, Los Angeles, New York City, Paris, San Francisco, Singapore, Sydney, Washington DC, and more on the way, the StoryCode movement is the willingness to experiment in creating a broad and expansive discipline which will spawn new types of entertainment experiences and technologies.
